It's Never Been Hotter

We have reached brand new highs in temperature and severe drought. This is not a great combination, but we have little control over the situation. We are doing our best to conserve water. In the evenings we've been gather for a lemonade and a little music. A different neighbor decides the music. The mean neighbor participates by calling the sheriff every evening. The sheriff faithfully comes when called and brings music and has lemonade.
It's going to be an interesting summer, don't you think?

For the most part it sounds like you have a nice neighborhood. Too bad about the mean one. He likely sours the lemonade.

I like your sheriff. I am deeply concerned about the drought that is happening in the west and other areas. From what they've said it will continue. I keep praying for rain. We're definitely getting our share.

the number of cities in the US expecting triple digit heat this early in June is horrible.

I'm glad the sheriff is ready to support your social gathering and share some lemonade!
