That didn't go so well

My town has a small airport. The airport can take commercial planes, though. There used to be a military air base here.
So starting today there's an air show going on. Lots of too noisy planes flying way too low for my ear's comfort.
A local daredevil guy, aged 28, was determined to set a Guinness world's record for a motorcycle jump. Evil Knievel, you know?? Yesterday the young man did a practice run- getting ready for the gigantic send off.
That was the end of him. Poor guy. I guess somebody has to be adventurous; to jump off tall buildings. Anyway, RIP young man. I am very sorry for your two boys and the wife that are left behind.

@sallypup My son got into doing jumps with motorcycles and four wheelers. Chad almost got himself killed!

@kobesbuddy Yup. A bunch of folks saw the crash happen. One of my brothers was into dirt bike racing for a while. He was knocked out once during a race. I hope your son Chad started doing safer things.

The noise and tension would drive me nuts. I saw about the accident on Yahoo but did not tie it with being so close to you.

@dgobucks226 I'm not super curious but I wonder what zip lining is really like? You know- zipping along on a thin wire above the trees?? Some folks love it but not me. Still I wonder.

@sallypup Yes, many try it. I don't like heights but it seems safe enough for me to try if given the opportunity.
