Another lost ring recovered story from Wisconsin

Mike Counter who is employed at the St. Norbert College in De Pere Wisconsin used his metal detector to search for items of value when his metal detector found a class ring that was lost by John Daciolas who was a high school graduate at Holy Cross High School in De Pere in 1976 who lost his class ring when the ring fell into the snow at the high school campus. Mike contacted the former principal at the high school Sister Jeanne Hagelskamp who used the school records to determine that John did lose his class ring in 1976. John now lives in California. Sister Hagelskamp contacted John by email to ask him if he had lost his class ring 45 years earlier. When John answered to the former principal at the high school that he did lose his class ring on the campus when it fell into the deep snow, he was surprised that an item he lost was found by a stranger who used a metal detector to locate the ring underneath the grass. John received his missing class ring by mail this week courtesy of Mike who admitted that in his 30 years of using a metal detector, he found a class ring and was happy to return the ring to John who is happy that a reunion with his missing class ring after 45 years has come home at last.
