Grandparents taught me….

Today is the death anniversary of my grandma, the thing I loved about her was, she was simple yet very classy. She was very particular about things and followed a strict routine…. Till her last days she was managing her entire house on her own. I loved her, for her courage and how she used to handle everything around. She never actually taught me anything, what I learned was by looking at her. Her life was a lesson…. Is it something that you have learned from your grandparents…...????

I wish I had lived closer and been able to learn more about cooking--especially from scratch, canning from both of my grandmothers. We moved to Baton Rouge so was just left for visits throughout the year

@Aansh13 I miss a lot of my granny's recipes! Homemade biscuits, chicken and dumplings and some of her cakes!

Yes I remember my grandparents and the way they used to live...I somehow feel grandma generation was more independent than us..in many ways

Lucky to have a good grandmother in your life. I wish to spend more time with them but they are really old and have to leave
