On Fathers' Day evening I got a surprise phone call. It was from a former foster daughter, Piyu. She was the reason of a buried pain in the deep of my heart. When she was seventeen she went away without thanking me, without saying sorry or without hugging me. She had come to our foster home when she was five. Soon after her widowed mother died of a strange disease. She grew up in our family and year after year she climbed up to a higher class. However, with teenage she became rebellious and argumentative. That was understandable but when our director was told she was moving with boys, her stay was arranged with her married elder sister. After five years she made this first phone call on Fathers Day. I am glad she has become wiser and is going to a college. She is a B.Com. second year student.
