Random things that probably don't work as well as they are advertised : The Scruffie

I came across this on the world wide interwebs. A silicone tube with razors attached to shave ones legs (and I suppose, arms if one was so inclined) easily and effortlessly. I do wonder how well it works. In theory it seems it would be a gem, but theory is not practice, after all. How are yuns? (Yuns (southernism) denoting or indicative of more than one person. See also: Ya'll)

Uhm... the word is youns... That might work for legs... but not for arms. It takes holding both ends to drag it over the hair. Not something I'd suggest a woman try...

Nah, it itn't! Youuns is different than yuns. You-uns and Yuh-ns Right, yeah I didn't think about it taking both arms. Honestly, I wouldnt' even use it for my legs. If I want to be that lazy I can just burn my dermis with nair.

@DaddyEvil Ouch! That's just yeah, I don't think I would do that at all! I bet it did hurt. Probably felt like sunburn but much worse.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I saw a guy do that when he wanted to take all the hair off his head once. He had big chemical burns across the top of his head. It looked like it hurt a lot!

I've seen it, but I'm not sure of its effect.

@Nevena83 So much money spent on something, and often times I cringe at the commercials as they are overly silly, and sometimes just embarrassing.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Yes, good products are sold based on the experience of others.

@ScribbledAdNauseum That's right, there are really brands that last for decades.

This is not something I would buy, a normal disposable razor is perfect and it takes very little time.

Agreed. I also think this product would not get all the areas, like around the ankles or some of the fine hairs that grow around the knee.

@ScribbledAdNauseum This is what I think too, the normal disposable razor surely does a better job.

That doesn't even sound like it would work. So I would pass on this one. But sometimes when we are drinking we watch infomercials on youtube.

@thislittlepennyearns Right, but then that describes pretty much all commercials and products now.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Some of it is silly. Then every once in awhile, theres one that makes a little sense.

I agree. I just don't think it would be worth the money.

@CarolDM I watched a video where someone was showcasing it. The skin around their knee rippled up and I cringed because I thought "Those blades are going to get caught right there and hurt."

Good question. Your-ses (Your-Zuzz) would probably be used, if there was such a word.
