He Shared Her Cactus With Me

So excited. I talked the other day about watering my neighbor's garden while he was on vacation. Came across his late wife's zebra cactus. I shared it with you.
When he returned I told him how unusual this plant was. He had three more pots of this cactus and gave me one. I was so shocked, He does not let go of anything that belonged to her.
So very special. She and I were very close friends. I brought it home and realized in that one planter, there were six different plants. I have them all in planters now on my baker's rack. They are facing a south window, so they should get enough light.
Found the special cactus soil with the pumice and perlite. I hope they all survive the transplant. She would be so happy. This photo is just one planter of many I have now with the cacti.

I've never seen a cactus like that. It really is unique.
How nice that you got your neighbors late wifes cactus and can now start your own garden.

I think he did because he knew how much you meant to her. What an honor.
