Taking Brendel For Fluids Today

Today will be Brendel's third trip to the vet for fluids, for her kidney disease. After the next one, she goes back a week later to have her labs repeated.
Then we will know what stage her kidney disease is at, which will tell us more of what is going on with her and how fast it is progressing. The goal is to slow down the progression. It cannot be cured but slowed.
She ate salmon again last night. I was happy about that. But this morning I found where she threw up twice. Hopefully the fluids will help her today. She is sleeping of course.

Brendel is absolutely beautiful, by this afternoon she will be feeling better:) Replenishing her fluids is helping!

Poor Brendel. Is is hard for you to get him into his cage? I hope it can be slowed down and then how long will she have to be with you and Dude? That is great that she ate the salmon again. I am so sorry she threw up twice and that it did not help. How does she seem to you?

. It doesn't sound very good if she is throwing up her food. I don't envy your situation. Sometimes I worry something might be wrong with Nico, as he doesn't seem as lively as he should be at his age, but I guess he is a cat now and not a kitten..and on hot days who can blame them? Good luck at the vet! fingers crossed..
