Do You Like To Play Chess?

I found chess as a game which is for those who are intelligent and is a game which makes you think so it'll help in making your mind sharp and that helps but you need to first learn to how to play chess.
I am still unable to play chess maybe I need to learn it properly first.

it's hard to win against a computer. i had this chessmaster downloaded on my desktop before. i didn't win that difficult level not once

@hotsummer Yes, the computer is very clever..I copy it's moves when I play with it. It makes it blow a gasket...

Gee, I haven't thought of the game in ages. There was a time that hubby and I played every Sunday. And then the kids came along lol... Now that I think about it, we have a chess set that my sister made us for Christmas years and years ago... It's still pack away... somewhere. Should spend some time today trying to locate it.

I used to play a lot of chess games with my cousin and at that time we used to live in a Joint family. I love the game and I remember that I played it on computer also and enjoyed it. However, now a days I do not play it due to lack of company.

Yes it's a great game, although we can play with computer but it's not the same as like we play with a human

Chess no checkers yes. But all three of my kids do play chess and they typically play it with their dad or between each other. They are actually part of the chess club at school. Sadly this year they didn’t have chess club or they would have taken part in it. They also like playing tick tack toe against each other and like to try to out smart me and my husband. Same with sticks, or dots.

I have played chess before and know all the players, how they can move. But, I do not understand how a strategy is mapped out, to win the game. Checkers, is simple, chess takes some deep planning, to beat the opponent. I don't actually know how this is done.
