We sold our treadmill

We sold a great many items in the process of shifting house and we’re now mostly settled in our new home. Today, we tackled tidying up the double garage and we can now fit both cars into it. Thankfully, we were able to sell the treadmill as it is quite bulky. We did use it from time to time but there is now a lot of gym equipment in the clubhouse of our new over-55s village so the treadmill is no longer needed. We listed it on a local website and it sold within ten minutes. Some things sell easier here in the city than in the country.

A treadmill is bulky this is the reason why we never bought one, I walk the pathway around the house.

@Nevena83 I do not care at all about the neighbors, they already think I am crazy because I talk to the cats, the birds and to my plants too.

I'll start walking around the house too, but I'm afraid the neighborhood will think I'm crazy.

This one could be folded up but it was still quite bulky.

It is good to sell not required things in time. Good that you found a buyer who could buy at a price of your choice.

@JudyEv Yes and we have old unused clothes and a few more things to be given to ragpicker but avoiding due to the still not normal condition.

@JudyEv Yes the Covid virus is so tricky to handle. I read that there is a resurgence in Israel which has a very large vaccinated population as well. In India, we have a new worrying Delta+ variant(new naming).

We don't have room for items that can't 'earn their keep'.

I hope you'll find something you'll like about living there. You'll still be going to those horse events won't you?

I don't like it much but I need to get used to it. We can't shift back.

@rebelann In my own mind, I sound very ungrateful. Many would give their eye-teeth to have a brand spanking new house with all the mod cons. I give myself a good talking to from time to time. We have a horse event next weekend so I'm looking forward to that.

@sharonelton It gave me a fright which was a good thing. It has a peg affair that you're supposed to clip to your clothing so that the machine will turn off if you fall or whatever but of course I wasn't wearing it.

@JudyEv yes, it looks bulky, I am leaning on buying the new model which is slimmer but I am thinking of the durability

It's good that you were able to sell that treadmill quickly and have a gym in the clubhouse if you need to exercise. Sounds like you're settling in nicely in the new place

@JudyEv I am so glad that you can fit both cars into the garage. I am glad you have do not need your treadmill and can use the equipment in the clubhouse. I found after I moved had to downsize more too and that is ok. That is great how fast it sold.
