June 24 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was/is a good day.
I'm thankful I went to the Y this morning. I had another great workout in the pool and fitness center.
I'm thankful I got home. It started raining before I left the Y. It rained so hard I had trouble seeing through the windshield.
I'm thankful I have my steps for the day times two. I have over 20K steps and still a couple of hours of step goals to go.
I'm thankful for the rain. We need it so badly. We had a great downpour this morning, and we're gearing up for more this afternoon and tonight.
Now for the good news, I keep forgetting to tell you.
I'm thankful I got the letter from Housing in the mail a couple of days ago approving my move. I have my Housing appointment in July when I'll get the paperwork I need for the new management.
I'm also thankful I'm getting a royalty payment this month. It's not a lot, but it makes me happy to know someone is buying my books.
Okay, that's all my good news, unless I forgot something else. The notifications are finished. I enjoyed visiting with you today. We'll need to do this again tomorrow. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me from the Botanical Gardens.

I'm thankful for ever drop of rain we've been getting. I've been lucky to avoid storms and the near-constant rain is keeping the humidity down. I'm tired, but I'm thankful I got some of the housework done I needed to do.

@just4him Got all of it done, too. A power outtage last night made me delay finishing the laundry. But, it's done and the power's back.

That's wonderful you worked with the kids and survived the students at Guitar Center.
