It is a juggling act.

Hubby has a juggling act when it comes to medicine. Luckily the most recent is short term.
He has a prescription iron tablet that either has to be two hours before or one hour after eating, or something like that.
Recently he had a check up with the VA. They want him on an antibiotic.
The antibiotic should not be taken with calcium rich foods, or a multi vitamin with calcium or a calcium tablet or an antacid or iron. It has to be taken twice a day.
He cannot take it with his other meds, because he takes a multi vitamin and a calcium tablet. That is along with his Ensure + and his oatmeal with milk.
So antibiotic comes at about 11 a.m. and then again at 10 p.m.
All this rules and such would really make my head spin.

Yes they are and it seems that it has only gotten worse.

@GardenGerty This is also what I am noticing, we have more and more rules to follow if we take antibiotics.

That is why I avoid them whenever possible.

That could get very confusing. Especially as I have trouble remembering to take one morning pill.

I hope you can get it all figured out, I remember many years ago when I would get the flu the doctor would prescribe antibiotics and I would have to make a schedule about when I had to take the tablets and figure out the hours between each one,
