We now have a workbench

Yesterday we put together a small workbench which fits in a corner of the garage. We also have some shelving there and will be putting up more pegboard at a later date. The workbench was very unsteady until we got it all together at which point it locked up quite nicely.
It’s pretty small but, as it won’t really get a lot of use, it should be adequate. We don’t have room for anything too big. I have a load of towels in the washing machine but they’re forecasting rain for the next few days so I guess they’ll need to go in the dryer. Onward and upward as they say.

Do you have room in your yard for a clothesline?
Your workbench looks fine. When I need to work on something, I just take it out to the railing on the front porch. (There's a workbench in the garage, but the wasps have taken it over. We've sprayed them several times but they keep rebuilding.)

@JudyEv We learned our lesson with wasps at the other house. We're both allergic to them. (I still spray their nests when I can get to them and can run away without getting stung.)
We have one clothesline post in this yard. It's cemented into the ground. We have no clue where the other post used to be. Usually, the neighbor's grandchildren climb on the post. *shrug*
Hmm... I'd be tempted to see if the rain would wash everything without me doing anything extra.

@DaddyEvil I would go out at night and spray the wasps' nests. I didn't want to chance getting bitten.

I don't think I'd be challenging the wasps!
There is a clothesline which hangs out from an outside wall. It is actually a very good drying area but not, of course, if it's raining. lol I was surprised how quickly the washing dries on the line.

@JudyEv yup, I can see from the photo. Looks like it was customized for that specific space.

We are getting down to the smaller additions now. It's only been a month but all the major challenges have been met - I hope! But I do seem to have enough storage space now in the house so it's time to take care of the garage and tool area.

We had a nice solid bench on the acreage but this one wouldn't take too much punishment. It isn't Ikea and is not such good quality.
