It's already Stupid° F outside

Not even 10 o'clock and the heat index is already 100 F/38 C.
The cats are already laying on the rocks in the driveway to try and cool off (laying there lets air circulate under them because of the rocks).
I normally don't turn my A/C unit on until about 3 PM, but I'm getting ready to turn it on.
Bleh.

I told my brother I was feeding the squirrels peanuts so they could baste from peanut oil on the inside for extra flavor.
Yeah, “ Stupid° F” is right. Wait till it gets ridiculous° F later in the day.

It's 5 pm and temperature here still is 38°C .it's difficult to survive here without AC, air coolers are useless these days.
My AC of bedroom was in breakdown since last two days so we were sleeping in our drawing room as we have another one . Thank God the person came to repair it today and it's okay now.

@myklj999 we have two but the one which is in drawing room is not much effective as it's connected to kitchen and the gallery which goes to the other rooms and we don't have the doors there so have just put the curtains. It was difficult for us to sleep from last two days

We keep our AC on all the time. We're too old to be uncomfortable! :-) I feel bad enough for people that are uncomfortable in this weather; but I feel even worse for the animals that live in houses without AC. Stay cool and stay hydrated!

@myklj999 Power bills in summer can get high. We still use fans. 
You might try to switch A/C off earlier, hopefully fresh air will last for long.

The outside cats here not do this early every morning, They go out in the yard and to the driveway and then lay down on the pavement, Usually, that is their place until afternoon, I stay in my cool workroom and I have fans blowing in the other rooms,
