It's rarely right!

Yesterday about this time the forecast per my phone weather App said we were going to have a small thunderstorm. The skies got a bit cloudy and the wind started picking up. That's it! My mother that lives about 4 miles from me and that weather forecast pertained to her area too said that they got about 10 minutes of rain and 1 strike of lightening. And that was it for them! Then my daughter who lives about an hour away said they got a little bit of rain and some lightening that was so low to the ground that it almost struck her friend! That lasted only about 10 minutes too. Today the forecast on my phone app says that there will be thunderstorms between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. However about 11:15 the sky here got cloudy and I heard thunder that lasted about 15 minutes, now the sun is out! LOL!!!!

don't really turst the weather forecast, they often let me down. i still waiting for rain here

Yep,lol, I guess I picked the wrong career. If I were a weather forecaster and got it wrong many times they wouldn't care and I would keep my cushy job!

The ferocity of thunderstorms is hard to predict. There are times when the radar is all red and yellow; and the storms are headed right for us. By the time it gets to us it has petered out; and we just get some rain. I'm glad you didn't get any bad storms.

Weather forecast is not working here as well... two weeks back it said monsoon arrives early this year ..but still no signs of rain yet..
