i am pretty sure they are. They were both rescue dogs, that had tough lives before joining our family.

Perhaps you should let them read some of your weather reports. At least they will know in advance if the day is going to be hot again. They might like some screentime. Or, throw them another treat to placate them in their waiting, or would that spoil their breakfast?
