My daughter and grand children left by 8 a.m. They will stop to see the other grand parents on their way home. It will break up the trip. Grandma Peggy is in the hospital. I am washing laundry, sheets and towels. Also have dishes to do. I will keep busy so I am not quite so sad. We have a gorgeous sunny day today. Perfect for putting sheets on the clothesline. With all the rain we have had lately, I will have to start mowing again soon. It had been more than a year since the grandkids had been here. We did go see them in Nebraska City last March. It is quiet here this morning.

We did have a good time. My daughter keeps reminding me that we always make good memories together.

It's nice they came to visit . . . I hope they stay safe for the rest of their trip. Sounds like it will be a very productive day for you - the weather is on your side!

Yes, it is. I am still hanging things out, but I am also folding and bringing things in.

I hope you'll start seeing more of them now that the restrictions are letting up.

I hope to be able to go see their new house. They have been there almost a year.

I am glad they were able to come to visit with you. I am glad you have some sunshine today. We are having some off and on again rain showers today. Hopefully it will be cooler tomorrow.

We have had about a week of the on again off again showers. I have two more blankets to wash and hang. It is not real cool here but it is certainly cooler than it was about ten days ago.

Nothing like sheets dried on the line in the sun...

That is right. As well as pillows fluffed outside and covers and blankets as well. Really much easier to fold from the line.
