Tonight Was Date Night

Every Friday night my husband and I go on a "date night." It usually involves dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. We have 4 restaurants that we take turns going to. And we don't go on date night with any other people, just the 2 of us. Even though we are together most of the day every day, because we both work from home, we still enjoy date nights. It gives us a chance to catch up on fun things going on in our lives, and make plans for future vacations, etc. Do you and your spouse or significant other go on a regular "date night"? If so, what do you usually do?

We have our date night on Saturday, we like at home, downstairs in our cozy family room. I prepare appetizers in the afternoon and we enjoy drinks and appetizers while talking and relaxing.

We don`t go out on a date every Friday but we order food from a nice restaurants and watch movies together on Fridays.

@m_audrey6788 Well, that's still a date night. You don't have to go out to call it a date night. We don't watch movies together much because my hubby falls asleep in the middle of pretty much EVERY movie we have ever watched together. That kind of takes the fun out of it. Fortunately, he doesn't fall asleep in restaurants. I would have to be pretty boing company for that to happen!

@JudyEV We find that if we just have it as part of our schedule every Friday night that it works out well. You should try it. It could be breakfast or lunch also. It just works out best for us to have dinner on our date night.
