Good evening from this side of the planet
It's 8 PM as I write this post. I had a good Saturday with my family. After a heavy brunch of poori( fried bread) and aloo masala( spicy potatoes curry), we played carrom and chit chat while playing it. For those of you not familiar with carrom, here is a brief intro. It's an indoor game and needs a bit of skill and eye hand co-ordination. It was once a very popular indoors family game in India but now video and online games have taken over it. We had fun playing it. Husband and elder daughter kept winning the rounds. Younger daughter and I had no luck today. And then we had a good family nap of an hour or more.
.It was refreshing.
Now everyone is back to there work after evening tea and milk. Girls enjoyed their banana bread as snacks. Now no one has the appetite for dinner. We might skip it. I have boiled and kept some pasta. If someone feels hungry later, we can toss them with some veggies and sauce and have. Else it can be used for breakfast tomorrow
Girls are back to their rooms doing their school work. Husband wants to finish some work now. He took two days off from work after his vaccination shot and has a bit to catch up at work.
My friend's son dropped in the evening to pick up the order for Mandala art. So, one order is delivered to a happy customer
. Now I have started working on the next order. You can see a bit that I did after my evening tea. Then I took a break and I will do some tomorrow
My friend's friend wants one of these and my friend called me to place one more order. She has no time limit and I can go at my pace
. I would like to finish it soon.
Now let me finish a call to my mom and that's the last thing to do for the day. And then I can enjoy cyber life for some time

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend

That is a wonderful work!! Getting money out of one's hobbies is unmatchable!!
We had Rice Pulao with some peas, potatoes and paneer in the afternoon. We have had our evening tea. Kids had some fruits and Shorbet.
Now we are planning making cake from Pilsbury cake pre-mix.

Your rice pulao sounds delicious and that should be a perfect lunch for a weekend. I should make it tomorrow. It will save me time to do some other stuff. I had made a post with my last finished project. I enjoy doing it.

This is the last order I made. I make it on paper with my hand. I made this is black and red colour as the order wanted same design in two colours. She specified it to be monochrome and with a particular dimensions.
Now seeing that two of her friends have made the order. So I have three orders in place. I have sold Mandala and Madhubani art to few earlier too. I also do calligraphy quotations. All handmade...Hand made is in demand.
It's 5:30 PM here as I write this post. [em]happy[/em]Hope all going well in your mylot corner. Another month is coming to an end and we are slowly moving...

@FaruMesh I do a little when I feel like it. Once you get hang of it, it does not take that much time. I enjoy doing it. I just love doing Mandala, Madhubani art, Worli, and some paper quilling crafts. I do them whenever I can.

It depends on the size and intricate designing. I don't do the framing. The price range is ? 500_1500 ( around $ 8 to $24). They might need to put few more bucks to frame it.
I draw it on paper using my hand. I look for designs online but don't use any software.

It's good to hear that you spend a lot of time with your family on weekends. We should always give preference to our family. It's precious.
