Just a little more

As I said, all the rain made the grass grow and I have to start mowing again. I got almost all the front mowed today. There is just a little more to go. I will do that before supper tonight. We are working on trimming down the tree we removed so that it will fit in the trailer and we will have a full load soon for the city burn pile. I am glad we have that option. We probably will haul it off either Monday or Wednesday. Tuesday hubby has two doctor appointments in Wichita. One is to get his hearing checked and see what options the VA will offer him. I just wanted to check in with you guys before I headed outside again It is awful quiet here with my company gone.

These appointments are more or less routine maintenance, except for the audiology evaluation.

Rain is to return here on Thursday. I got the front done. I will mow tomorrow. Tuesday we will be gone most of the day for appointments.

@GardenGerty We had a lot of rain yesterday. When I opened the door this morning at 5 it was almost cold, only 14.5 C (58 F), an April temperature. Tomorrow will be hot.

It would be way too hot for a fireplace this time of year. We do have some outdoor wood burners but this stuff is too big unless hubby wanted to do a ton of work.

It is nice to haul it away as it reduces fire hazards. I can mow every day during growing season, as long as I do not over do it.
