Yesterday started out early for me. It wasn't my idea but Roscoe likes to get outside by at least 6am so he wakes me up about 5am
We were outside by daybreak and he likes to run around the yard for a little while before he settles on a toy to play with. In the picture you can see him trying to give his toy to Bella but she wants no part of it I like that he's willing to share.
My worry was what he would do when the fireworks got started and to my surprise he isn't afraid. I was a little concerned that he was drawn to some of those crackly type firecrackers, he kept trying to find out where that was coming from. Never had a dog do that before.
K, found a video that I hope I haven't shared before but even so it'll make you giggle.

Our dog Topaz had a tough time on Diwali day here in India. Poor thing! He would just hide under the sofa and stay petrified there. I miss him.

That's good that he wasn't afraid of the noises. Good that you kept an eye on him throughout his experience.

That's good he wasn't afraid. The cats keep running from room to room looking at fireworks.

the video was hilarious as always!!!!
interesting that he is not afraid - I've had a few dogs that weren't afraid of fireworks, but only 2 that would actually try to figure out where the firework and sparkle was coming from.

That does seem unusual. Labs are so sensitive. I know nothing about Great Pyrenees though, only saw that one the old lady was walking.

The cats are indifferent to fireworks. Of course we do not have any in our yard.

That's good that they are indifferent. I don't know if my kitties are bothered by them.
