I have and am finding notices on Facebook about an elderly lady. Unreal and all I can do is pray and pray and hope and hope some more. The lady is 83 years young. I do not know the exact how comes but the facts: she has been missing since last Saturday- July 3rd!!! She has dementia. I guess her and hubby got into a spat and she grabbed car keys and it sounds like her little dog and bye bye, dear. Here it is Tuesday July 6th. Dear elderly lady could be in get this: Oregon, Washington state, Idaho or even Montana. Yeah. She called her hubby once. Her debit card was used once. She called 911 once. And that is what the world knows. No Grandma. Where are you???? Yikes. And spooky. And please be okay. My world is hot right now. Please be okay and be found safe and sound super soon.

That is scary...I hope my mother has the car keys hidden in case my dad gets the idea to drive off somewhere. I do hope she is found.

@sallypup If I know her. she has already considered this. I do know one time shortly after his license was revoked, she had to talk him out of trying to drive somewhere telling him he would be liable in an accident.

@snowy22315 So your Dad has had driving issues? Giving up driving is super hard and I am looking at using more public transportation in the future though often its a slower way to get around. Its an issue that I must address eventually.

I always feel for these missing elderly people with demential. So very sad. Some are found, others are not. Heartbreaking. And kind of scary to see the activity, I hope she wasn't kidnapped or worse.

@CarolDM She was spotted in an Arbys in Oregon. The granddaughter is going nuts- she's been trying to find Grandma since last Saturday. Gulp.

They said the last they saw her was in Ephrata about 1 am on July 4th and then a phone contact near Moscow, Idaho the same day. It didn't say what the contact was or if she even talked. Her husband claims he spoke to her and she was lost in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho but said she didn't need help to get home. The article said she has not been diagnosed with dementia but something about a report where she said she was trying to get home but didn't know her address. I hope both her and her dog are found.

@noni1959 Now its Monday. It has been over a week with no Grandma. The poor granddaughter has gotten nasty comments and predator crud so she has taken her phone number off general view. Too many low lifes and dang I am worried.

There are so many, men and women I hear about like that. It’s horribly sad and so worrisome for their loved ones. I hope she will be found soon all safe.
