Baby Shower Yesterday

Hello myLotters! I was not online much yesterday because I went to a baby shower outside of Baton Rouge. It was for my cousin's daughter which is my second cousin.
It ended up sprinkling on my drive in but didn't pour until everyone was inside and the shower was under way. I got to see all three of my daughters and 3 of my grands! I posted a photo of them above. They were all well behaved. Little Miss on the far left had a few serious talks but she wasn't too bad. She is very active, as most 3 yr olds are and had fun. Believe it or not she is very shy among new people. This didn't bother her too much as she stayed close to her mommy.
I had a lot of notifications when I got home and worked on them some. I'll be tackling them this evening and trying to get caught up.

Congrats to the mom-to-be. I am also thankful that you managed to get inside and dry before the downpour started. A Power outtage kept me away most of yesterday and the day before. And, today, I'm just exhausted from an unexpected adventure.

They were pretty good for being around a lot of strangers. That is probably WHY they were so good..lol. Little Miss pretzel girl did insist on a glass punch cup where everyone else used plastic cups to avoid having to wash the other cups. She is spoiled because she goes to tea parties, yep birthday parties just for little girls and they have tea in nice and pretty little cups. My daughter asked to borrow a couple of my antique sets and I said NO real fast.

@DaddyEvil It would be hard to replace any broken pieces and I figure they would be more appreciative inheriting a complete set one day over an incomplete set.

That must have been a treat to you to see all three of your daughters and a bonus to see your grandkids. Some kids can be shy when meet new people. I hope you had a good time and the rain stopped by the time you went home. Congrats on the baby.
