Day 29
Exodus 5:22 And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, “Lord, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? Why is it that thou hast sent me?
23 “For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.”
When things don’t go according to plan, you complain and blame God for your trouble.
God sent Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh to tell him to let the people sacrifice to God in the desert. Pharaoh refused and caused more hardship in Israel. Moses entreated God about His plan and told Him Pharaoh would not let them go.
As Christians, do you pay attention to God’s instructions? Do you hear only part of what He told you? Do you complain about your trouble?
God told Moses Pharaoh would not let the people go so He could show His mighty power to Pharaoh, and then he would let Israel go.
Exodus 3:19 And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand.
20 And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go. (KJV)
People hear what they want to hear. You need to listen to the entire message God gives you. When you do, you won’t be surprised by what happens and complain to God about your trouble.
Let’s pray: Father, help me listen to everything You say to me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

I know most people complain about their problem to God but their hearts are far from Him.
