The image is my first echinacea bloom. I planted the seeds three years ago. My herbal lady shared them from her garden.
This is likely the natural, non hybrid variety. My mistake is it is not in enough sun to get sturdy.
Echinacea does not transplant well.
This is in a bed that is under one of the trees the energy company trimmed this month. I think it helped some. The tree is an evergreen so it always has leaves and shade.
I would like to have more varieties of this plant and perhaps I will some day. I will plant them in more sun.

I know they grow well in Oklahoma, and lots of other places. Maybe I can find you some seeds.

At some point we will have to have this tree removed, but for now, I will plant more in the sunshine.

All the pollinators love them and they can be used medicinally. I imagine they would flourish with you caring for them.

As the days go it will get more pink. It also naturally occurs in white and then other colors have been hybridized.
