What's for breakfast this morning?

After a fun day at the preschool, I treated myself to sushi AND miso soup last night. Yummy! This morning, I had leftover sushi for breakfast (with coffee and a cigarette). Yummy! I may take a bonus July shower this morning before heading in to work. In any case, what is (was) on your breakfast menu for today?

I agree 100%. I can’t stand fish, but I’d rather eat cooked fish than raw fish. Glad I have a seafood allergy and don’t have to even make the decision.

Don't you get a tummy ache by noon?

@FourWalls I am allergic only to lobster. But it may be because of "the lobster incident" when I was 14. Barfing was involved.

@TheHorse Well, that is my typical breakfast . The coffee thing for sure and a handful of some kind of bitter greens. Believe me, I'm not starving . This morning it was a piece of bitter melon!

@TheHorse Yes, bitter melon. I never see them at regular grocery stores - only Asian/International markets. They kinda look like warty cucumbers but taste nothing like it. You can cook it, but I eat it raw.

@xander6464 I would fire my upstairs chef for not thinking ahead. Are you getting complacent at (almost) 28?

I could use a few prunes. My morning constitutional was like a European breakfast.

Raisins make me sad. They remind me of really old people. I'd rather eat corn flakes.

When your body naturally secretes only ambrosia and nectar, you don't worrying about showering. Right now, I am heading to the pool. It's almost 90 F here.

I miss fish, but no longer eat it--but there are plenty of vegetarian sushi options these day--I jam just finishing oatmeal

I'm not a big fish person either. Much of it tastes...fishy. But I do enjoy certain kinds of sushi.

My parents used to subject us to chicken lovers now and again. It sounded horrible but tasted pretty good on buttered toast.

On that night I asked them to add some roe for a dollar extra. The crunchiness was a delight. I don't think they charged me.

I was naughty and had pop tarts this morning. Maybe the half glass of skim milk redeemed it a little.

There was no specific breakfast as such. For our combined Lunch and Late Breakfast (sort of Brunch), we had Mixed vegetable in Gravy (Carrots+Capsicum+Beans+Potatoes and Tomatoes)grinded in a grinder along with Bread which was garnished with Butter over a Hot Tawa. It is a kind of a variation of what we call as "Pav Bhajji" but we had Bread instead of Pav.
