I am not strong anymore!!

India
July 17, 2021 9:17pm CST
Grasses and weeds start growing in front of our house and vegetable garden. Monsoon rain really favours them. Wow!! So,I decided to uproot all the weeds and grasses. Some grass was very deeply rooted, it was hard to pull out and, that too grew in a scattered manner. Khurrpi became useless. Thinking of convenient and faster work, I started using a spade and, after clearing all, I found myself back pain and unable to move now, forget about carrying a bucket of water and drawing water from the well. Conclusion: I cannot do manual work. When I am home, it is better to work by own, engaging others is not satisfying to me. Hope I will get stronger and physically fit . Now pain relief spray and ointments are lying besides my bed. Stay safe Everyone Happy Sunday! Image: mine Sorry it may not be good one

Actually there are 3-4 buds, Sad part is these will bloom for hours only. It's the matter of patience also . Those trees are actually areca nut trees. We do have coconuts trees but 2-3 only. Coconuts are not much suitable at our regions. very hard to grow. Stay safe

Thank you so much. I am quite negative about it as the land is very expensive in Singapore.

@psanasangma I trust that your back is unaffected with all that bending, pulling weeds, digging, uprooting, wheeling those weeds to a heap somewhere... etc. Get some good relaxing arms and back massage.

Your garden looks great and vast, I can see lots of areca nut trees and one or two coconut trees on the right side of the pic. Even after all the efforts and pain the pleasure we gets is priceless I guess

One of the Northeastern states. Many of us rely on Wells or streams water for drinking purposes. We don't prefer public water supply connections unless we live in capitals.

Sorry to hear that.but as we grew old, everyone will get weaker than before,It was a constant natural principle.this year i was 40 old,I felt my phyical quality is not as good as before. Now i try to avoid something including intense action.I think such things is not fit to me anymore. However you still have guts to clean all weed and grasses,it is admirable.

Better pull slowly while sitting. Use a small chair to avoid back pain. Young and old can experience back pain, no exception because our body is so vulnerable, unlike the iron man
