We have a few coconut trees that were planted years ago. They are all yielding. We harvest them once every three months and we have someone that buys them from us. We keep some for our consumption. Coconuts have health properties. The oil is versatile and apart from using it for cooking purpose it is used for massage and hair care. Do you use coconuts in your day to day life?

What about your hair. Do you use the oil? I used it after frying curry leaf in them. The oil turns black and it is supposed to help hair.

@allknowing We use hand-pressed coconut oil for our hair. Yes, curry leaves in coconut oil help a lot for hair. I used to do it but have not done it in a long time. I should do it again. I am having hair fall post covid. Adding crushed methi seeds there is also good.

Your coconuts look good and they are many in number We once had many coconut trees in our farms,my mom says so..but later they all fell down. Probably the environment was not suitable for them. I like coconut water but they are available mostly during summers in the stores..coconut chutney is yumm

Interesting to see them like that..most of the ones that are sold in the US, already have the outer husk removed. Of course the the more tropical areas of the US that have coconuts have the natural ones.

@allknowing I am from Kerala and the name originates from the coconut tree only! Then easily available in Singapore mostly from Malaysia. The Philippines have plenty too though not that much in Indonesia

We have a coconut tree but my neighbor contaminated the tree with toxic waste, ironically it did not gone bonkers yet, kept growing more coconuts but nobody dare to drink them. Not even passers by

I have not understood how toxic waste in the soil can affect coconut water. Have you got the water tested?
