I spent over a thousand dollars...

Not on the groceries and things in the photo, but on the bed I went and bought, first.
My brother gave me a mattress that evidently wasn't working for my oldest nephew, and said my "sinking in" probably had to do with the older box spring, but regardless, my back feels bad enough, so I just went and got a new bed.
I got a nice firm one, as my back always feels better after I lie on a hard surface.
Thing is, now I have to go and do some cleaning in my room, as that's where the guys are obviously going with it when they deliver it.

That's good you are able to get one. Nothing beats a good bed because it's good for your back.

I am grateful that despite my former mailbox being vandalized a few weeks back, all mail is now being sent to a private post office box where the mail that was not delivered can be picked in downtown.

My friend Juanita keeps wanting me to get a new bed but I don't want to replace my custom-made futon with its nice solid kapok-filled mattress. I hate sleeping on bouncy beds. I can sleep on the floor, just like the cat I am.

My youngest daughter had to buy a new bed after her neck surgery. The a**hole she was living with at the time, although he was a doctor said it wasn´t worth it. Claudia said that it was her money and got rid both of the old bed and of the a**hole.

The same thing happens with my mattress and my back. It seems like my body is lying on the waffle iron. The truth is that sometimes I lie on the floor and feel some comfort.

When at work, where there was basically industrial carpet over a concrete floor, I would often go in the office on my break and lie down on the floor. It help.
