More shopping for art supplies.

I did some more shopping for art supplies today Mum came with me today because she had to go to Boots to pick up a repeat prescription. They had most of it except for the cream for her legs which will be arriving Saturday 24 July (which is now today in my time zone). We went to Boots first and got Mums repeat prescription. Then we went to Holland and Barrett for some Kambucha. I had a pomegranate one today and Mum got two raspberry ones, one for her and one for my step-dad. Then we went to WH Smith and took a look at some books about Lichfield and some art books and magazines, but in the end we came out with nothing. Then we went to Rileys the fruit and veg shop. I got a lemon, some spring onions and a red pepper. Mum got half a cucumber, some mini gem lettuce and some sweets. Then we went to The Works to get my art supplies. It was a bit like last week. I did some umming and arring about what I wanted, but eventually I chose an acrylic starter kit bag which had 12 acrylic paints in it, a palette, some plastic palette knives, 6 brushes (like I haven't got enough brushes!), a pad of acrylic paper gesso primed, and two canvas boards that were double gesso primed. I also got some painters sponges (Mum said, "Why can't you use ordinary sponges?"), two artists putty rubbers, some graphite pencils, some drawing pencils, 6 small canvases which were double gesso primed, and a lever arch file (not painting related). I also got a large bag to put it all in! It all came to £24 in total which means I've now spent £49 of my birthday money! After that we went to Iceland were I wanted to get some sea bass in the big packets but they only had packets of 2 so we got 2 packets of 2. Mum got a ready meal for herself and a pizza style garlic bread. She wanted some sterident tablets but they didn't have any in. (She uses sterident tablets to put in dirty mugs over night in water. Gets the muck off really nicely!) After that we came home! My legs were aching for the rest of the day! What do you like going shopping for? I hope you all have a great night. See ya!
