Something That You Will Find On My Desk

Of all the things that are on your desk, what would you say is the MOST important item? Mine is a paint chip. It's an odd shade of green but then green is my favorite color. But that has nothing to do with it's importance. It's what is written on it.
"Nothing That I Have Ever Worried About Has Ever Happen".
I glance at that little paint chip every day and you would think that the words would have sunk in by now. But no, well kind of. I have this brain that goes looking for trouble... sound familiar?? And on any given day, I can find something to worry about. When nothing that I have worried about ever happens, you would think that I would learn by now!!!
I even have a file where I have written just how many times those words have come true. Just saying... that there are pages and pages of times when I lost sleep over something that I thought would happen... and it never did.
I wonder how many times you have to look at those words before you start believing in them?
Is it only me or anyone else worry needlessly??

Since I started having neuritis due to stress and anxiety, my neurologist told me: - If you ever see a building fall in front of you, you just stand aside and keep walking as if that was not your problem. From there I never let things and people with their negativities overwhelm or affect me.

I'm a born worrier. Unfortunately a lot of what I've worried about has unfortunately come true.

The more you are exposed to it; the more you get into it and it becomes a byword.
