Oh, Oh! I started feeling light headed a couple minutes ago. Then I realized, that I'm developing low blood sugar, I'm late eating my afternoon luncheon. Diabetes is a big pain in the neck:( So, here I go at a very fast clip! I'm headed for the kitchen to fix myself something to eat. What will it be? Oh gosh, I'm not sure. I'll be back in about 1/2 hour, after recharging my glucose battery! Photo: Mine

Yeah, low blood sugar can really mess me up. I don't have diabetes, but I have something related to it -- hyperinsulinemia. My body puts out too much insulin in proportion to the amount of glucose in my bloodstream.

Yes, I had hypoglycemia for many years, until my pancreas finally got tired out. Now, I'm diabetic but it's fine, as long as I take a low dose Metformin and eat less sugar&starch. Instead of a big meal, I need to eat five times a day, smaller portions.

@kobesbuddy Are you gluten free as well? Or am I remembering a different MyLotter's health issues?

@spiderdust For six years I was on a gluten free diet, diagnose with Celiac Disease. Now, I no longer follow that diet and am doing very good. Carbs aren't good for me, but I do include them in each meal.

Oh, please take care of yourself! Part of management is remembering you have to “recharge those glucose batteries”! I’ll tell Jay!

Yes, I'd better be more careful after this! Jay has seen me this way, while riding in the car or waiting in a restaurant, for food That's why I ask for coffee, right away.

I almost passed out one time, it was frightening. I called poison control to get help. The lady assured me, I hadn't been poisoned, I was suffering from low blood sugar. When she called back, I was doing just fine:) @Butterfingers

@LadyDuck I use to have very low blood pressure. As I got older, now I take medication to keep it from going too high.
