My Refrigerator Fiasco Update

So here's the update on my refrigerator shopping. As I wrote in a previous post I was going out to look for a new refrigerator since my just totally stopped working. My daughter and I went and there really wasn't much to choose from. I don't know if it's because of the pandemic but stock was very low. If I wanted to wait it would take a month before they would have the one I wanted back in stock. I can't do without a refrigerator for over a month. So, we picked one which was above our budget but what can you do. The best part is it was scheduled for delivery the next day (yesterday). Played the waiting game until mid-afternoon and the truck showed up. A big yay on my part!! Took the old one outside for return and as they're ready to bring the new one in it's all dented on the door. Nope...not accepting something this expensive with damage. So, they had to call to say we refused delivery and now they had to bring our non-working one back inside. What a fiasco!! Had to go back to the store, pick out another refrigerator and delivery is supposed to be tomorrow (Tuesday). Needless to say, being without a working refrigerator for 4 days now is not fun. My weekend was just plain stressful as well as running around so I'm really hoping today I can just have a normal day. I'm happy I drink my coffee black so I don't need milk and I'm already working on my second cup. I hope your weekend went better than mine. Things can always be worse but this isn't much fun
