Greetings from the Beach!

Hello everyone! We are at the beach this week in Florida and enjoying our time here. We were greeted with this beautiful rainbow on the day we arrived. The rain was just a quick afternoon shower and then it cleared right up.
My daughter's gang all went down for a walk on the beach after we got all settled in. My hubby and I waited until the following day as we were ready to just chill a bit after driving all day.
We all hit the beach yesterday and had a great time. The kids loved playing in the waves and searching for sea shells.
I'm not too sure what today will entail as they all sleplt late. Two of the four are fixing to come to our unit and enjoy coffee and muffins. It's almost lunch time so hubby and I may just leave them here and take off to do a little shopping.

Very nice! I hope you enjoy yourselves.
Pretty and I drove to the lake yesterday but after seeing the crowd, turned around and came home again. We've been vaccinated, but that won't keep us from catching Covid. We'd rather not be sick.

This location was chosen mainly for the grandkids. The beach here is not crowed at all. Next trip is just an R&R with me and the hubby and then a trip meeting his brother and sister in law. We still haven't figured out the meeting site but I'm pulling for the Smoky Mountains!

Glad you are having a good time. Hopefully we will be in Florida later this year. I don't know if we will be able to do that much driving. We shall see.

We are hoping for a good night's sleep before heading home. Our oldest daughter's family is in Milton, FL and wants us to stop over there to visit or stay a night or two with them but we need to get on back home. We will be doing laundry and leaving again in 3 days for Biloxi. It will just be my hubby and I on that trip. I have a couple of cousins we hope to visit while over that way.

Hello Karen! It is good that you are enjoying the beach with your family. You know? When I go to the beach I enjoy exploring more than bathing. I love all the variety you can get.

@kareng I'll tell you the truth: I'm not a slim model in my swimsuit either hahaha I prefer to go shopping and have a beach cocktail.
