Deleting Your Own Discussion

I would never do that even if it has some mistakes or sounds stupid, I will keep all of my discussion as memory and for analysing what went wrong in that

The only time I delete discussions is when I have second thoughts after posting. A mistake in spelling or subject matter that pushes limits or that after seeing the post, I just don't like it. If no one comments after a day, I may delete a discussion for that reason. I just don't know why others would delete old discussions, sorry.

I have deleted my discussions before. I don't write very many so when I get tired of people going to one of them, I might delete it if I'm tired of talking about the subject. Sometimes people call a discussion "old" after a few days or a week. If you go to those discussions, the OP will delete it or will block you for talking on their discussion. (I was blocked once for talking on a discussion the OP called "old" that she'd written four days before... ) vanny told me not to go on her old discussions because she didn't want to talk about them after a few days. (I used to open old discussions and talk on them to have fun playing on them. I called that "making a zombie walk" but have since stopped doing that.)

I have deleted different discussion, over the past four years. Some don't get very many views or comments, so I get rid of them. Others probably have a different reason, for deleting their own writings. If there's an intense discussion that leads to anger or fighting, I delete the entire post. There's no benefit from hateful conduct or a fit of anger! I guess it's like cleaning out a closet, to get rid of things I don't want.

Yes, sometimes I delete them. If they are old no one reads them.

No, I don't do it. I don't feel the need to, and once in awhile someone will comment on some of my older discussions as well.

I don't delete old discussions and I don't find a reason to delete them. They are going to earn you in any case so why to delete them. Yes I deleted once a discussion which after posting it I realised that I have violated the guidelines and it's going to be deleted by the admin so I deleted it by myself

Old discussion never I don’t deleted them what if someone goes back or finds it on a search and they comment on it then I can’t comment back if I deleted it. I never deleted them.

I never delete my discussions and Admin suggested NOT to delete, it is rude toward those who spent time to type comments. You can delete if you think you wrote something that is not appropriate, but I would say this should be an exception.

I don't delete. It's a matter of choice.

I have done this a few times and delete my photos as well.

Well am just 2 months old.... My discussions are few and I don't think that I would ever delete it.

I used to love digging old discussions and commenting on them but realized that this act was not welcome by many people. Dont understand why. What is there if people comment on your old discussions? And if you don't like the topic why did you post it in the first place. I see nothing wrong in that. I never delete my discussions and I have no problem if anyone revives my old discussions and comments on them.

@Butterfingrs, Na, I haven't dome that. But in the past I also learned from writers here that they deletd their discussions, but dunno the advanategs and disadvantages. let us wait and see.

As for me, I don't delete them.. I have discussions that only got 2 or 3 response, but I don't delete them.. It's like my little scrap book where I look back and see who's always interacting with me and who just go with the most popular discussion for the day

No. I find it odd to delete discussions. I will not, anyway.
