My neighbor is having her 15 year old Maine Coon mix cat euthanized in a bit. He is such a sweet boy. I've been going down there each day to pet him for many months because neither she nor her teenage son are particularly interested in or attached to him. He has lost weight, he has constant diarrhea, he vomits up his food often, etc. She is over it. I think he still has some time left but she is just done. Oh well. At least he got some daily pets and snuggle time with me over the past year. Poor Max.
