Do You carry umbrella or Rain Coat With you During Rainy season?

We are still in Rainy Season and many times it does rain here even when there was no prediction for that and many times does not rain when there is a prediction of heavy rain like what happened yesterday when it was expected to rain heavily but it only drizzled for a bit only so I thought it won't rain today but when I was only 5 mins behind my office it started to drizzle today in the morning and when only 3 mins away it started to rain heavily and I was completely drenched while I reach work.
Now I think I should have carried raincoat with me.

I do carry umbrella with me all the time. It's very important to have it.

i have an umbrella in the door of my car. I have one in my computer briefcast. i always have it with me!

To be honest,i don't highly trust weather forecast.during rainy season,if the weather looks like it is going to rain,i will take a umbrella,even forecast showed it willnot rain.anyway,taking a umbrella is not a struggle.

@Butterfingers yes,i suggest you carry a short and foldable one in your bag,it wouldn't add much weight.

I go to supermarket yesterday morning and the sun is very hot. When I leave the supermarket it was raining hard with some winds. I have no umbrella so I hire a tricycle to get me home

I live in a place that gets less than 500cm of precipitation a year. Believe it or not. I haven't used an umbrella or rain coat in two decades.

we don't have such season, but the rain is common in autumn and spring - but i don't carry anything with we. people here say "you won't melt"
