August 3 - What I'm Thankful for Today

It's been an interesting day. I was only here for a short time this morning before I disappeared to work on Vendetta.
I'm thankful for the sleep I got last night. I went to bed at my normal time and got about 9 hours of sleep. I got up when I should have been walking in the door at the Y. So, no swimming today. Though, I'm well-rested.
I'm thankful for the walk on the trail. I took a different route on the trail and ended up with 10K steps shortly after I got home. I put in 3.5 miles this morning. That surprised me to walk that much at one time. @DianneN I'm almost ready for 5 miles. 
I'm thankful for completing all my fitness goals. So far today, I have just over 19K steps, so I'm sure I'll top 20K again today.
I'm thankful for starting the publishing process with Vendetta. There's still a lot of work ahead of me, one more read-through before I hit the approve button. Right now, my only roadblock is the cover. I uploaded it several times and I'm not seeing it. So, maybe, it will show up tomorrow. I hope so.
I'm thankful I found out how to get my cover into a PDF format. It only took most of the day to figure it out.
Okay, that was my day. The monthly Zoom meeting for Writer's Guild just got done. Short meeting tonight. Only two readers. I wasn't one of them. I was too busy with Vendetta today to prepare to read. I did share about how to get the cover in PDF, so that was good.

You were really productive today. Sleeping in is never a bad thing. Sometimes the body just needs that boost of energy.

@LadyDuck I need to be patient. They have a little note on the site that it could take up to 72 hours. I've done all I can. My next step is to have my son's girlfriend adjust the design. I might do that anyway. My name needs to move over a little.

I like that image, My day was busy got myself going on my blogging so have less to do tomorrow and and begin posting, I remember two writing sites I have neglected lately and will look into them tomorrow,

Glad you were able to work on Vendetta and that you figured out how to upload the cover into PDF format.
I am glad to take mom in law to garage so she could get a few things taken care of on her car. It rained the whole time we were out. When I got home and settled in the sun came out.
