The disaster of the auto call receiver

The electrician picked the phone but I heard him having an offline conversation. He did not attend to my call. I was flabbergasted. How dare he not attend to my call. I disconnected and called up again. Same story The third time he picked up the phone and explained to me that his phone was in the pocket of his rain coat and it has a device that automatically received calls and records.
These upgrades I tell you are there to create misunderstandings. I will never go such upgrades In fact I still have a feature phone and am happy with it.
Do you have an automatic call receiver and recorder?

What a strange thing to happen. Couldn't he answer the call before it started recording? That seems really strange. I don't have an automatic call receiver and recorder and I don't want one!

It was inside his raincoat pocket and he was not aware of my call Yes. I too do not like these weird upgrades

@sharonelton Look at Alexa - She puts the lights on and off and even sings for us - just ask.

These days phones do create misunderstandings when even though our phone is free it comes engaged and such.
