August 5 - What I'm Thankful for Today

This is the day the LORD has made and I WILL REJOICE and be GLAD in it. Every day is the Lord's day, not only on Sunday, and I'm especially hyped right now and giving all the glory to God.
I'm thankful for the sleep I got last night. It seems I'm alternating my lack of sleep nights. Last night I got almost 8 hours according to my Fitbit. It only means, I woke up at 5 again, so no YWCA again this morning.
I'm thankful for the walk this morning on the trail. I didn't see any wildlife as I did yesterday, but that's all right. I got my steps, 10K by 9 AM before I got home from the trail. So, you know the hourly steps added to that number. I'm sitting at just over 21K with my fitness goals completed.
I'm thankful for Vendetta. I worked most of the day with the cover. My son's girlfriend was here to make it fit as my name and the title were outside the boundaries. Not anymore! 
I have the blurb and the bio along with my picture and it looks AWESOME! It's almost a book. I could click the button and publish it right now, but I want to read through it one more time and make certain I haven't missed anything or messed it up. I think it will be an easy read-through. It should be at this point.

Sounds like a good day there, and that you got a lot accomplished. That's great to hear on your book and that you are that much closer. And getting that many steps in a day is amazing!

That is awesome! We had a pleasant afternoon out by the pool today. Inside now and the hubby is snoozing on the sofa. Thankful that the folks here right now are nice people and not a party crowd that is making too much noise. Someone actually complained because there were 4 out in the pool after ten pm but they were not making any loud noise. There were several of us at the pool to tell the manager that the call was not valid with units right there at the pool.

I had to go through all my pictures to find the photo. I've made recent changes to my picture files. It's not the same one that's in the profile here, but it was taken on the same day. I made certain my friend took a lot of pictures that day so I would have a good selection to choose from.
I'm glad you saw a lot of butterflies in the park.
I'm seeing a lot of butterflies this summer at the complex. They're dark and they're always fluttering away. So, I haven't gotten a good look at what they look like.

I am glad you finished your book. Today, just grateful I had a peaceful day. Grateful nowhere to go. Thankful for the peace.

That's wonderful.
We had a rain-free day and my husband got to mow the front lawn. Seems like everyone was doing it. Saw another for sale sign.

I am glad your son's girlfriend was able to help you with the cover of Vendetta.
I am thankful the electric company is getting ready to cut a couple of our pine trees down that are getting too close to the wires. I'm not sure Mike and I could do all that work ourselves now. Have a blessed evening.
