The difference between a Triangle and a Square

Well first off, apparently i cannot tell the difference between Triangles and squares. We went for a walk in the Catoctin Mountain Range (we were walking to see the Cunningham Falls). We took the trail and it was marked with squares! We got to the falls and headed back. We were on a 2-hour tour. Sadly, I missed the squares on the way back and started following triangles! Straight up the mountain! Now we were on a 3-hour tour! We did get to see Hog Rock, but it doesn't look like a Hog to me!

Now that's something I don't get to see at all. Tall trees and lots of shade ..... I keep hoping my trees will get taller but so far most aren't too much taller than my mobile home.

I'm sure no one was bothered with the extra hour of hiking.

A square is a triangle with an extra side, so you put aside, one side, and decided to side with the lesser sided side instead, adding an extra side to your journey though, besides the lost side. I would have done the same....lol...I am on your side!

@DocAndersen Dumbness, can be a needle sticking into greatness sometimes too. Dumbness can lead us by routes into greatness, that we might never have taken, or considered to take, otherwise. Dumbness plays its part, as needed, in our lives.

Wow that was some view you had on top of the mountain. Wonder where it got the name Hog Rock. You got your exercise in and then some.
