I am using Facebook for 7 years for communication and some entertainments. I witnessed the changes in this social media since I started to used it. First i don't know all the features and how to use those. Time passes and now Facebook has many toxic users, making many accounts to used for not good things, like bashing people, bullying people, and any kinds of cybercrime. Now Facebook is still good but bad users make this toxic.

It's not only Facebook, all social media sites, youtube all are having the same problem. Toxic people are every where. It's better to disengage yourself from such posts or comments.

That's true. Whenever I read such toxic posts or comments, I'll just keep whatever thoughts I had about it to myself. I don't wanna add up to its toxicity.

Can't agree more. Have you been in twitter? It's more toxic there. I already deactivated my twitter account and soon enough I will also deactivate my facebook account.

Like everything else in this world, wonderful tools are misused by some and ruin it for others. The internet itself is such a terrific way to learn, keep in touch with loved ones It is up to each person to use these tools responsibly and safely. Two proverbs sum up the situation really well: Prov: 14:15 'The naive person believes every word, But the shrewd one ponders each step' Prov. 22:3 ' The shrewd one sees the danger and conceals himself, But the inexperienced keep right on going and suffer the consequences.' Wiser to stay block toxic people or even stay off sites that are so poorly monitored that bullying and criminal behaviour is rampant. We have a lot of power to protect ourselves - we just have to be willing to use it.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg refused to censor people using the site claiming to stand for the right to free speech. However, FB has since reversed that policy due to a deluge of misinformation about Covid, false claims on US election fraud, and hate posts that are racially motivated. But you're on your own where internet bullying and trolling is a concern.

I think it's the problem lay in some flaw of supervision, the Facebook should enhance supervision and clear someone bad from community.

Social media platforms can be a boon if used well. Unfortunately, there are more people to abuse them and misuse them.
