August 7 - What I'm Thankful for Today

I set an agenda for today that I wanted to accomplish. I met my goals. I also took off the Fitbit. I know I get my steps every day, so there's no need to wear it. I also know what I'm eating, so I don't need to track it on my Fitbit. However, I will track it on my Excel program. Okay, my agenda and what I'm thankful for today. Tomorrow is the church picnic. I'm thankful I made the brownies and this time they turned out perfect. I also only made one batch. It's doubtful I'll bring any home, but I won't have that many to eat if I do. I'm thankful I have the kitchen packed. At least all the dishes except what I need. My cupboards are empty. I only need to pack up the pantry. I'm thankful I have the bathroom packed except for under the sink. I just remembered, I forgot the drawers. I'll do those tomorrow after the picnic. What I have left in the kitchen and bathroom won't take long to finish packing. Next up is my bedroom. A friend from the pool is bringing me boxes with dividers perfect for my oil lamps. I'm sure there will be others as well. It won't take long to pack up my bedroom, and then I can focus on the office. That's where the real work is. I'm thankful for the time I was here today. I finished my notifications earlier. It's good to know what you're doing in your corner of the world. I'm also thankful for the work done on Vendetta. The final read-through is going well. Yes, there are minor changes, more changing phrases to one word. I did find one thing I need to clarify, a loose end that didn't get tied. I started tying it. Tomorrow, I hope to get more work done on it. I'm pleased with how it's reading. Okay, that's my day along with walking the complex at least once an hour, so I know I have at least 10K steps. I didn't walk the trail. Too humid. Not the weather for a walk. I didn't relish the idea of being mosquito food this morning. How was your day? What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading.
