Have You Lost Anything Lately?

I lost my eraser!! I know that it's a little thing to have lost, but it is driving me crazy. I use it all the time!!! I do all of my work with a pencil and I know that it is in my office SOMEWHERE, but as many times as I have looked, I can't find it. I must have searched every inch of the room and it's like it has simply gotten up and disappeared!
Maybe it's just me, but I swear, things do disappear all by themselves with no rhyme or reason. Sometimes they return and other times... never to be seen again. I have heard others say the same thing and it boggles the mind.
So, today's question... have you lost anything lately??

I lost my patience earlier today.
I didn't put the stem in properly on the percolator and all I got was hot water.
I had to rebrew it with fresh cold water.
I got impatient and took two spoonfuls of grounds and wrapped them in a coffee filter and dunked it into a cup of water heated in the microwave.
I found my lost patience soon after.
Your eraser is where you left it. You'll find it in the last place you look.

Just a minute ago the dog's leash was lost, but fortunately it was recovered quickly.

Oh... crochet hooks. I really need to get mine out and use them again. Can't remember when I used them. Back in the seventies I was always crocheting something. Here's hoping that yours show up. Mine are in the "junk drawer" tied together with an elastic band. Probably covered in dust lol.

@Hate2Iron I've just worked out where they are. They are in the basket which we take in the caravan. I took them on the last trip thinking I'd get some wool from an op shop (thrift shop) and start on something.

I have a feeling why things have gone missing here and why and who did them so I do not wonder. What I wonder is why they continue to get away with the things they do to people.

Yes. I have a roll of blue painter's tape and a sharpie marker. I am trying to mark things for a yard sale. I "put it someplace safe" so who knows when I will find it.

It will be somewhere there and would appear when it decides to. I keep losing my eraser whenever I am drawing and sketching.

I was pretty good at keeping everything where it was supposed to be and then poof... the eraser disappeared. Luckily it did turn up late yesterday!!!

Yes my mind. Just joking. Last week I decided it was time to finish watching the second season of The Handmaid's Tale. I have the second season and third seasons on dvd. My uncle has a vcr/dvd combo hooked up to his tv. So last week I made sure it was still hooked up. But I couldn't find the remote to it. I can push play and stop on the device so that's what I'm doing right now. I thought one remote went to it. But I fiddled with it too much and now it won't work.
