Day trips

One of the things I've gotten to enjoy this year are little day trips. In July my momma and I went to Mitchell, South Dakota for the Corn Palace , a building decorated in corn and grains to celebrate agriculture, I got to perform dance at a Renaissance Fest in Wisconsin, and today, momma and I leave for a couple days in and around Taylor's Falls, MN. We stay a couple of days, see sights , and come back home and the whole thing is a comfortable, but not too stressful ordeal.
Do you take mini trips? It seems much more affordable and perhaps less stressful than a much larger trip

Your trips sound wonderful! We do that sometimes, too. You're right, they're much less stressful than longer trips. We like to drive to Raleigh, NC or Norfolk, VA or the outer banks for shopping and eating out.

This pandemic i hardly make a any trip....take care you in trip friend always full precautions with mask when go outside

Caution is wise. I know, for a short while here it was looking like pandemic was a thing of the past. However now it seems that with the Delta varient masks and caution are again being encouraged. We;'re vaccinated here. though I wouldn't want to take risks either

I think you will have more little day trips. Good thing it is not stressful. I think I like to have one as I'm bored to be at home all the time

Sounds like a great way to de-stress and enjoy the little things in life Faye. I've gone away last December for a few days at friend's time share. Very relaxing just hanging out. Also plan to go up to a lake house a couple days the last week of August. I agree, less packing is a plus!

i take one day trips to cities in Bosnia and i also went to Belgrade for a day this year. i think it's a good way to spend a day and see something new. trips are always a good idea. enjoy yours!
