How are you all?
Got off work a little early, stomach has been upset all day, so I left about two hours early and just relaxing now. It is another very humid day right now. They are saying it is only 73 degrees but with humidity at about 83% they say the heat index is at 84. All I really know is that it is very uncomfortable outside right now.
I hear that the Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, finally resigned after an investigation concluded that he had sexually harassed 11 women and retaliated against his accusers. You know the same governor who set the elderly to their deaths in the nursing homes in New York.
I’m not sure who is worse him for sexually harassing women or the people around him who covered for him and tried to protect him. I can’t believe there are still A-holes out there like this that believe they can get away with it. I hope he rots in prison where he should be.
It had started for sure; our government is making it mandatory to get the vaccination. Our Military is to be vaccinated by mid-September. I’m not sure what happens if they don’t, or they refuse seems that is not being said. Also, there are some big public companies that are following suit now. The bad side for those of us who do not want to get it will have no defense but to try and find a new job that does not require it. Guess I will see at the time my company requires it and see about finding a new job.

now I have to try and find out what's about nursing homes there.? I don't watch news as it's too depressing.

@Bensen32 I looked it up and still don't know what he was guilty of ? Letting people go into them? where were they supposed to go?

@bunnybon7 Well there is the part where he forced nursing homes to take in Covid positive patients knowing the likely hood of it spreading throughout the facility. Then trying to cover up the actual numbers of deaths so it would not look as bad. Then trying to blame Trump for his actions. He could have called for a state of emergency and housed them else where so it would not spread to those who were not positive but he just didn't care I guess.

You do have the legal right to refuse you know, and no company can enforce such an order. There are some people who ligiitimally can't get any vaccine. I suggest you do your research, do some digging, and be prepared to back up yourself so you don't have to get the vaccine..

I am glad people are being vaccinated, as I want to get our economy back on track. But I am pissed off at people who use power to sexually exploit others. Our former president makes it seem like its OK. I am reading Cohen's book about him now. I would like to see vaccination be voluntary, not mandatory, as I want Americans to work together to do what's best for the Country without being "controlled" by government and businesses.

Yeah, those that want to take the chance on the vaccine should do that and be free to do that I have no issue if people want to get it. I just dont think I should be forced into taking something I do not trust, that has no long term testing to know what it will do to you in say 5, 10, 20 years from now. I also don't see that it is affective if people are still getting the virus and die from it than it doesn't seem very affective to me.

Over here it's illegal to force people to get vaccinated or for companies or organizations to discriminate the unvaccinated because there is no law yet. I hope you would feel better soon.
