A Notification from Me

First, it turns out the Ice Princess loves to act and dance, too. Photo from a camp performance her daddy sent me last night.
My notification is to let you know that I will only be around a tiny bit the next few days - rather than disappearing as usual.
Have a few errands later and a mani/pedi appointment. Then packing for a getaway with hubs at our favorite Inn/Spa/Marina tomorrow. We have reservations for dinner overlooking the sea and plan to relax at their outdoor pool. I’m passing up a facial and massage due to the delta variant. Our son recommended a French restaurant for breakfast and brunch with outside dining, not too far, so we will try that before we check in.
I was thinking of canceling, but covid updates in the area are 0. May be our last trip for a long time.
Hubs and I need quality time to ourselves. So looking forward to it.
Thanks in advance. We will enjoy ourselves and have a wonderful time as usual.

Your granddaugher enjoys everything, wonderful! Have a very nice time with your husband, you will end up having a great getaway! The COVID numbers here are 0 also and I refuse to worry about it!
My hubs and I need some quality time to ourselves. Will we get it? I really hope so. Today is our 31st Wedding Anniversary

I too worry about the variant and it keeps me closer to home. There are areas close to us where numbers are spiking and I know that people travel from these areas to ours.

There are only 3 towns with known delta variant cases in CT and none near us. We have a day trip with friends on Sunday, but that may be the last of them. I will stay on top of the numbers here. I’m a wreck, too.
Thank you. I hope it will be safe to see the kids when camp is over.

We got hit with corona here so smart move skipping the facial. Cases are rising here fast. I hope to get vaccinated in a week or two now that I’m no longer pregnant and my c-section and tubal have had 2 weeks to heal.
The Inn/marina sounds amazing! I hope you and hubby have a great time.
