What Have I Been Doing? Where Have I Been?

Hello myLotters. I wanted to put up a post here quickly to show you that I'm still alive. I have been busy on numerous things but have been trying to do a bit of reading and my notifications every day/night.
So what have I been doing?
1) Got back from our R&R trip to Biloxi and we more or less took day off Monday. I did have to go to the post office and pick up certified mail from the nursing home. It was another eviction notice from the nursing home my mother is in. I had gotten a phone call from the ombusman of the State and she will be helping me with this appeal.
2) Yesterday I got talked into going to LA and doing yardwork with the hubby. We got a very late start because he lost more keys. This time to the storage shed. We found them after an hour of hunting. Got everything loaded and off to sweat.
3) I have been choosing which Farmasi products I will be putting in Girl Boss Boutique and making a list with the prices. That way I can make the tags for prices and upc codes faster and not have to stop and look up prices.
4) On my list for today is getting some things ready for the flea market. I plan on going on Saturday morning. I will be putting some fresh eggs there for sale. They were almost out last week when I was there and I Inquired about bringing mine. I was told to bring them on!
That is about it. I need to get outside and do some watering of the plants and garden this afternoon. It is very dry here right now.
Hope all are doing well and staying safe and Covid-free! The photo is one of my dianthisis blooming.

Dianthus is a favorite of mine. I've not been here much lately either.

I love the flower in the picture. Glad you got away and found the keys. I hate when I lose things and have to search for them and if lucky find them and if not do not and not happy about that. I read a post of yours the other day. I hope that the ombudsman can help you.

Is the nursing home trying to evict your mother? Can they do that?

They are trying. And yes, they call it an unvoluntary discharge. It is because they want full payment. The hospital told me the social worker would be filling out Medicaid paperwork. I found out after she had been in the nursing home for 3 months that it was never filed. The aid assigned to mom's case told me that was the nursing home's responsibility. So she got charged full amount for those months and then she got penalized for large amounts of money that disappeared in 2016-2017 from her bank accounts (brother and his girlfriend). Then she has a retirement benefit from my dad that goes to account at another bank that I am not on--only savings there because the bank screwed up when we visited to put me on both accounts. They want that money too, in addition to her monthly Social Security check.

No, my biannual new glasses, to pickup. Not ready yet as of today... probably the variant slowing things down.

@kareng I agree with you, that's a very stressful matter you are dealing with. How old is your mother?

Beautiful flower. Thanks for the update. I hope your appeal bears fruit. Take it easy working in this heat. It's been brutal. You stay safe too.

@CarolDM I have to call and schedule a conference next week and I have no desire to go there (visitation is cancelled due to staff Covid cases) under the circumstances. I wonder if I can sneak in and check on my mom while there? I may get run out of there...ha!
