Rain Dance Paid Off Finally

Finally we have rain. Have been doing a rain dance for days now. With the heat wave, the yard and garden were getting so dry.
I hope it rains all day. And tomorrow as well. A good soaking rain is falling.
These were the clouds from the patio doors I snapped right before the rain.
Hoping it will cool off a little when it stops.

I hope so too. It's another dry hot day here and the smoke has finally reached me.
When I woke at 4am it was 61.
At 10am, it passed 80 degrees. 97 yesterday and 94 the day before.
It doesn't get hot here often but we've had three stretches this summer of over 90.
Last month it hit 103 three days in a row.
I moved from Minnesota to escape the extremes in tempetature.
It worked for the cold. 20 degrees is considered frigid here lol.
They can't even comprehend what -50 below with a wind chill of -75 feels like.

We had over an inch of rain. Temp is 79 today with much less humidity.
