When will it ever end? 8-13-'21

There goes the day again. It was only 1 pm when it became as dark as 1 am again. For the past week it's been dark most day and night. I am so sick of it. Hard to not stay depressed over so much. Thunder and lightening storms every day.and the electric goes off at least once a day.
Poor daughter, she was upset and crying when she came home last night. She found out that the night before one of her best friends and co worker died from the cancer she had been fighting.
Only thing good is that it's my daughter in Ohio birthday. That's mostly what I use FB for. Every once in a while August 13 th falls on a Friday. and she was born on a Friday, so I can't say my luck today has anything to do with that since most days are bad this year for me. At my house 2021 is starting to look like it will be as bad as 2020 was. uugghh
So is it constant rain at your house ?

It is when I had all the kids around me and I was able to work and take care of them etc. I was young

Here, it has mostly been sunny and hot. But, there is a tropical storm in the Atlantic that could hit Florida and bring rain here next week.

We've been getting a lot more rain than normal this year. It's been raining since yesterday morning... At least it's cool with all the rain. It's only 74F outside right now.

@DaddyEvil oh that would be truly horrible. It's scary enough when I have to get someone to help me turn on a tank when power goes

It is nice to be cool but not when you loose electric and thunder is loud and scary and you already have breathing and moving issues. Glad yours is a good rain.

@bunnybon7 We don't usually lose electricity during storms. We lose it when squirrels play on the electric lines and blow a transformer.
I've had my breathing machine go off in the middle of the night. It feels like someone is choking me before I can get the mask off.

We get a lot of rain here in my city. We can have it any time unexpectedly and it rains throughout the year.
